MCLV, in collaboration with Helix, lead the site design for a new plaza as part of a historic rehabilitation in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City. The design transforms a surface parking lot into a vibrant public space, providing shade and seating for both the public and patrons of the restaurants framing the plaza. The project forges an identity that embodies the rich history of Film Row and the gritty Arts District as the first public plaza in the Crossroads.
